We develop Electrical and Mechanical building schematic diagrams to show where meters are needed.

At Enica, we are able to develop Electrical and Mechanical building and process schematic diagrams to show distribution and wiring across a whole site or building. Our Chartered Electrical Engineers have years of experience in developing this important knowledge from scratch.

How do we do it?

Our approach is simple. We undertake a visual walk-round survey of a whole site or building, starting at the main electrical and mechanical incoming supplies and meters. From there, our specialists create schedules of electrical circuits, distribution boards and existing meters, creating relationship drawings of how each sub-distribution board is fed.

These drawings are then used to show both “how a site works” but also where gaps in metering are present and how a metering strategy can be developed to deploy additional meters.

We provide all drawings as CAD .dwg files and .pdf, ensuring a professional drawing.

up-to-date drawings allow good energy management

I regularly use the electrical schematic drawings that Enica has developed for us simply to understand what I am looking at within our meeting data. It helps massively with Energy Management. I challenge any Energy Manager to undertake good aMM&T without good schematic drawings.

The Mall at Cribbs Causeway

Enica have developed electrical schematic CAD drawings for The Mall at Cribbs Causeway; one of the largest shopping centres in the South West. Using a combination of site surveying and electrical knowledge, Enica created a drawing that shows how the building is wired electrically and where meters are located.
